1. Papermill

Papermill, isn’t the name interesting? You can use this plant to add useful ways to your yard. They tend to give an amazing tropical feel and even can bear cold climate conditions. This is a great combination that can be found in plants.

2. Ferns

You would be happy to know that ferns can be grown easily and are reliable. If you want to add beautiful small plants and blossoms to your yard, you can choose the ferns for that purpose. 

3. Blue lily lawn

4. Shamrock (purple)

6. Elephant ears:

The elephant ears cone under spectacular ornamental plants having huge leaves. These plants love to grow in a warm, humid spot in the garden.  You need to plant them in a safe area so that they grow best. You need to protect the plant from wind so that it does not ruin the leaves of the plant.

7. Never never plants:

Theu comes under shade-loving herbaceous plants that are correlated to Calathea, Maranta, and Stromanthe.  In case to grow them will add color and light to the shady place in the garden. You need to take care of the plants so that they do look good. You need to give them a lot of moisture. They come under heat tolerant plants. 

8. Philodendron congo:

This type has large, lush, sturdy leaves which are best planted in shady corners of the garden. They do grow with a burgundy accent color. They are also called Philodendron ‘Rojo Congo’. If you plant them in groups they will grow beautifully. You can use the leaves wonderfully by cutting the arrangement. you can keep them in a vase as they are long-lived and have a lush, shiny appearance.

  

9. Anthuriums:

These are seed flowers having glossy green heart-shaped leaves. They are used to Bloom in different colors of flowers such as Red, pink, purple, or white all over the year. You need to add humus to the soil. Make sure to feed the plant properly in order to encourage the blooming of beautiful foliage and flowers.

10. Clivias:

To grow Clivias in your garden there is not much watering needed. They come under low-maintenance plants. They are used to grow with lush green strappy leaves during the late winter and spring seasons. Gardeners get attracted to them because of their orange trumpet blooms. They are also present in yellow and cream varieties. To grow them effectively you need to grow them in clumps or rows

12. Malaysian Orchid (Medinilla cumingii): 

You may get confused after knowing about the name but it is not an orchid nor comes from Malaysia. It is actually a showy and valuable plant in tropical shade plants. They are used to bloom in pretty pink flowers. after which the berries that grow in purple and with maturing turn to black color.

Creating a dense tropical garden for shade is a great idea but you need to check on your climatic conditions and the area you want to harvest. Hard plants with a tropical structure in your garden will suit you best if you are in a northern climate. Why worry about the experiments?
